RET Group ticket

With the RET group ticket you can travel with a group or family of up to five people for one day on RET bus, tram and metro. The group ticket can be purchased in the RET app (download here). When traveling with a group consisting of people aged 12 and older, use the RET 1 day group ticket. This allows 2 to 5 people to travel. The larger the group, the more discount you get. If you are traveling with children between 4-12 years old, use the RET 1 day family ticket. RET 1 day family costs €20 regardless of the size of the group. It is e.g. possible to travel with 2 adults and 3 children, or with 1 adult and 4 children.

Where to buy

The RET Group tcket is only available in the RET app. It is a digital ticket with a barcode.

What does a Group Ticket cost?

The RET Group Ticket comes in two variants:

  • RET 1 day family always costs 20 euros no matter what composition the group has. Please note that children must be between 4 and 12 years old to qualify for this ticket. Children over 12 years old, count as adults.
  • RET 1 day group (for persons 12 years old and over) costs:
    • For 2 persons - 19 euros
    • For 3 persons - 25 euros
    • For 4 persons - 27.50 euros
    • For 5 persons - 30 euros

How does the Group Ticket work?

When you have purchased a Group Ticket in the RET app, you will receive a barcode ticket. You must activate this ticket within one day. When activated, the ticket works all day until the end of the timetable. In bus and tram you scan the ticket once for the whole group. At a metro gate you can scan the same ticket for each person in the group.
