Faster boarding and exiting on tram lines 21 & 24
When people take too long to board and exit the tram, delays will result and you will arrive at your final
destination later than planned. The RET is conducting a pilot involving a number of modifications aimed at speeding up the boarding and exiting process.
Boarding and exiting
Allow people to get off before boarding. Once the tram doors open, give people who want to get off space to do so by waiting behind the white lines. Once everyone is out, board straight away.
Closing doors signal
After the warning has sounded, all doors will close simultaneously and will not reopen. It will then no longer be possible to board or exit.
If this pilot is successful, the RET will apply the modifications to the other tram lines as well.
