Holiday timetable from Monday 15 July 2024

From Monday 15 July, we will be running holiday service, which means fewer buses, trams and metros. For bus and tram, the holiday service lasts longer because we do not (yet) have enough bus and tram drivers available. Below are the changes.

What does the holiday timetable mean for you? Plan your journey online or in the RET app.

Bus: Monday 15 July to Sunday 22 September

Many bus lines run less frequently. Bus line 65 between Poortugaal Metro and Overhoeken and bus line 283 between Zuidplein - Barendrecht - Kralingse Zoom will not run. Bus line 668 to STC Campus Waalhaven will not run until 25 August.

Bus 33 (Rotterdam Centraal - Airport - Meijersplein) will continue to run at its current frequency. Due to the summer traffic at the airport, bus 300 will run as a reinforcement on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays between Rotterdam Airport and Rotterdam Centraal until 20 September. Bus 300 does not stop at the intermediate stops.

Once the school holidays are over, the bus lines to (high) schools and university will run more frequently again.

Tram: Monday 15 July to Sunday 29 September

During this period, all tram lines will run fewer rides on weekends. Works are also taking place, causing tram lines 7 and 8 to run differently.

Metro: Monday 15 July to Sunday 25 August

During the school holidays, all metro lines run less frequently. Metro B runs every day between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.

From 6 July to 31 August, there will be major maintenance on the metro track near Slinge. Metro line D will run between Rotterdam Central Station and Slinge. Shuttle buses will run between Zuidplein and Hoogvliet.
