I have lost something in the bus, tram or metro. How can I find out if the RET has found my item?
We at RET are glad when we are able to return lost belongings to their proper owner. All found items are stored in our Service Point Rotterdam Centraal for safekeeping. It usually takes two to three working days for lost items to make their way there. When you have lost something, it is therefore best to wait briefly before contacting us. After a few days, call our Customer Service on +31 0900 - 500 60 10 (usual costs from your provider apply). We can be reached on weekdays between 9:00 and 17:00.
If your lost item has been found, Customer Service will assign you a registration number; this number can be used to retrieve your item from the RET Service Point at Rotterdam Centraal.
Please note: winter hats, scarves, gloves, keys and umbrellas will not be registered. For these items, please visit the RET Service Point at Rotterdam Centraal three days after you have lost them. Any bank cards found will be turned over to the bank that issued them.
Have you found something? You can turn the found items in to the conductor in the tram, the bus driver or the attendants at the metro stations. You may also bring any found items to any of our RET Service Points. Thank you for taking the time to help out!
